On September 26th, 2024, the FLUWS project reached a key milestone with the first General Assembly (GA) meeting, which took place in Freiburg, Germany. Hosted by our esteemed partner, Fraunhofer, the event brought together all members of the consortium for a productive day of collaboration and discussion.

This GA marked an important moment for the FLUWS project as it provided an opportunity for the entire team to review and discuss the early technological advancements made since the project’s launch. It was also a chance for partners to align on upcoming objectives and ensure a smooth progression towards the project's goals.

The agenda was packed with presentations and discussions that covered various aspects of the project, including technical challenges, strategies, and key innovations that have already begun to take shape. The collaborative atmosphere allowed partners to share insights and feedback, fostering an environment of collective problem-solving and forward-thinking.

One of the highlights of the day was a guided tour of Fraunhofer ISE's state-of-the-art laboratories. The FLUWS team had the unique opportunity to witness firsthand the cutting-edge research and technologies being developed at one of Europe’s leading institutes for solar energy systems. The tour not only enriched the technical discussions but also inspired new ideas for future innovations within the project.

Stay tuned for more updates on the FLUWS project as we continue to advance towards a cleaner, more efficient energy future!
